Default Page Cannot Be Diplayed

I have no problem connecting to the Net but, every time I go to a page that requires a log/sign in I get "The Page Cannot Be Displayed". I can browse anywhere but can't log in to a secure site. I'm using IE 6. It does it with or without the firewall enabled. Any ideas?
Oh,Mozilla works just fine but now IE.

I had already run AVG several times and removed/quarantined infected items prior to posting this thread. I am using AVG Ver. 7.5.503 and couldn't find the report options or settings you listed. However, the other reports are attached.
Please excuse the lag time between postings.
Thanks for your help.

You have a few infections that need to come out...

This will remove some of the malware if present and help to identify any others .
Please download Combofix from HERE or HERE

Save ComboFix to the desktop.
1. Double click on combo.exe & follow the prompts.
2. When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.
3. Copy and Paste the contents of that log in your next reply with a new hijackthis log. Do not use Code or html unless asked for.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to stall/hang.
