Hi, My internet seems to be running very slow, despite the fact that my isp tested it at almost 6mb this morning. This has been happening for the last 3-4 days. For example, when playing a video on the web it will play for 3 secs then pause for 3-4 secs before doing the same thing over again until it gets the song or talk downloaded (not p2p sites)then it plays without any problems. Web pages take ages to download, and some pictures seem to crawl down at a snail's pace. My isp says it could be something in my computer which is causing this problem.

Another thing that is happening is some pictures don't open, eg: I clicked on the 'more' at the bottom of the smilies here and got a dull 'dunt' noise but no picture. An empty box flashes on & off the screen, that is it.This happens on other websites as well.

Has anyone got some suggestions as to what it might be?
