Question [Answered] Ping Help??

I have a game online that requires ping as most online games do, on my laptop it used to be around 40 - 50 which is pretty good seeing as its wirless but know its majorly increased to like 80 - 200 but on another computer with the same game same server and same internet has my old results 40 - 50 even when there both on the same server mines like 80 - 200 and the other laptops like 40 - 50 but somtimes it drops to 50 then increased to like 180 and i dont know whats wrong? it used to be good ping but majorly increased for some reason? any suggestions thanks

You have no control of the path a ping takes to get to the specific IP address.
I doubt that you own a protocol analyzer. The only thing I can suggest is contacting your ISP. They might be willing to monitor the line for you or perhaps advise you of the problem if you can supply the exact time and IP address involved.
