This is kind of continued from my last post " internet works on one user account but not the other 2" The Problem is that, TalkTalk have recently sent us another modem to sort out the previous problem and that has just made things worse , i gave them a ring but they said it should be working, i think it may be something to do with the settings of my IE, can someone shed some light on the subject, thanks.

Hi there could you check some settings in IE:

Click Tools
Internet Options
Click the security Tab
Go through on each one, e.g. Internet, Local Internet, Trusted Zone & Restricted Zone and then click on the Deafult Button.

Then Click on the Advanced Tab and then click Reset to deafult, hit Apply then ok

Close IE.

Click on Start and then Run and in the open box type CMD and press enter

type the following command:

ipconfig /flushdns

Restart the computer and verify that you can connect to the internet.

if that still doesnt work, click Start, and then Run, type CMD in the open box and press enter.

Then type the following command:

netsh winsock reset catalog

yeah fixed now once and for all hopefully!
