Wow ok.. Eh, I'm not too sure I understand, but you tried re-installing IE? That's really odd though :S

Well, it sounds like you may have accidentally modified a file, i cant tell you which one, so could you please tell us what you did between the last time you were on the internet with this software and when it wouldnt connect, also when you try to log into msn, and it gives you the error select trouble shoot, and then in the next window repair once it has analised, or you can go into cmd and type "ipconfig /renew", this forces the pc to reconnect to all connections, this probably wont help but, give it a shot.

But if you actually DELETED IE and are running vista you have almost no options since you cant repair install it and there have been no update installers for IE on vista, where as if you deleted it in xp, then you can download IE7 from the microsoft website

This was stated in another thread.... I'll go find it, but in the meantime....

Does your CD work at this point? If so, set the XP in and reboot... tell it to boot from CD, whichever your default CD is yours. That fixes it up. It's worked from each that have asked the question about XP not re-booting.

Other than malware/virus/adware problems....

Sorry.. didn't see the {Resolved} soon enough.
