Hello, i decided to post this here because ive looked all over the internet for a possible solution to my problem but nothing seems to be there relating to my problem so i guess i'll have to get some advice from here instead Anyway, i have internet explorer 7 on my computer, and everytime i close a browser window i get two error messages (every single time). The first error message says that internet explorer has encounted a problem and has to close, and the second one says internet explorer will open another window. So in order to actually close a browser window for good i have to press "cancel" both times to avoid it closing and then opening another browser window for me to work with. Its really weird. I tried to reinstall internet explorer 7, thinking i could "refresh" it in a way, but that didnt work. Does anyone know whats going on? Its getting a bit annoying pressing "cancel" twice every time i close a browser window

Do you have all the latest microsoft updates loaded? They have resolved similar problems check here Microsoft Windows Update

Yes, my computer is scheduled to update everyday and i also checked for latest updates after i reinstalled internet explorer 7...

When it pops up with the Send Error Report box, if you select Send, then select Close..a new window might pop up.

Failing that, disable all your managed addons, as one of these might be causing your issues.
To disable your managed addons, goto Tools -> Manage Addons -> Enable or Disable

Sorry if this might sound like a stupid question but what does disabling all of your managed icons do? *blushes* I'm a bit nervous, will that do anything bad?

Don't be nervous about it - it won't stop you from being able to do things...if you have extra toolbars (like google) this will be removed from in here. It's more of a test than anything else. If it wasn't safe to do so, I would have stated it at the start of the message
