Have you tried reinstalling the router, or pressing the reset button on it?

Try removing all software for the router and reinstalling from the routers install disk. If you have another pc working correctly through the router then its the pc. Have you tried system restore to when the pc would connect?

yes the laptop(wireless) works, and this pc works. and i tried system restore, says your computer cannot be restored to, whatever restore point i select, ive tried many different ones. ive also ran adaware, spyware doctor, tried repairing the registry, ran system mechanic pro 6, and also applied a winsock fix, no help from any of them. i dont have the router cd.
