I am absoulutely mystified. I used to surf blogs and post commenst up to a few weeks ago. Now all of a sudden, NONE of the comments I am entering are going in. This is more noticeable with Wordpress blogs, but there are countless others that won't submit.

Has anybody seen this before, any suggestions what to check for?

I myself have not had a problem like that.

Can you describe the exact nature of the problem such as an error message?

Or are the sites allowing you to submit your post and just not adding them to the page?

I'd like to make sure this isn't malware related to start off, please follow the instructions in the Prework link in my signature and attach the three resulting logs as text files.

After that one of our security staff members should be able to take a look at it.

But try Start -> Run -> sfc /scannow

you will need your XP cd.

This is a brand new T60 thinkpad, there is no malware or viruses present. I am starting to think that Wordpress have some sort of blocking software in place for people who post 'too many' comments. I posted with another URL link and it worked. perhaps they think everybody who posts on blogs is a spammer if they comment too much. Shame really as I find this enjoyable.

No error messages.....and the comments never appear later (ie. validated by blog owner). They are always thoughtful genuine comments I make, so never spam. Don't get it.

Have you contacted Wordpress at all?
