Default bt voyaber router 2100 and aol ...

I cant I cant I cant do it Chris ...

I disabled the lucent modem on mothers pc, disableds the wanminiport usb connection utility for aol usb connection .. installed the drivers for bt voyaber router 2100 .. rebooted and connected up the router to ethernet port in back of pc ..

all light s green on router for power and connection ... tho cant connect through aol software nor through the aol dialer which bypasses the aol software.

it cant find a modem .. i cant seem to point it at the ethernet card (i think) .. its a broadbad connection on an idependant line in the house ... so doent need a phone number does it .. it does .. but where do i find out that info .. maybe thats all i need no ,,,,

sigh

mother says bin the router its been discontinued anyway and well buy another .. any ideas ...

thanks .. a terribly terribly loist and confused not to say frustrated and bitter bitter giles

Hey again giles

Do you get a connection in Network Connections and Internet Explorer?

I think you just need to set up a new location with AOL, i would be able to give more details if I had AOL still, but i guess you can see why i switched lol.

Looking forward to your reply,

Chris

Check the Local Area Connections in Network Connections and make sure they are enabled. Also are there any lights on (look at the actual ethernet port on the computer.
