Exclamation [Resolved] Uninstalling ChaCha toolbar.... Firefox problems now :(

After uninstalling the chacha-toolbar in firefox it has taking over my adresse line. I can't remove chacha from the address line.

Meaning; if I for example write "opel danmark" in the address line the browser automaticly goes to Opel Danmark, but since I've uninstalled the chacha-toolbar it simply goes to "http://www.chacha.com/404error.html?q=opel+danmark". Not through google but through chacha.

My intelligent search is gone.

I would like to chance that back... How do I do this??

Best regards Christian.

PS. Tried everything...

hey funnydude, and welcome to PCHF...What say we get you fixed up. if you could click on the prework link in my signature, that will have you go through some preliminary steps that will clean out some of the nasties in there, and should leave you with two logs, one from AVG (be sure to choose 'quarantine' on all the items it finds) and one from HJT. If you could then attach the two logs, we can get started.

Thanks,

v
