Exclamation [Resolved] wireless net problem

ok im currently using speedstream 6520 on my main computer (ethernet connected) and a wireless netgear wg111v2 net adaptor for my 2nd computer....

the problem is everytime i turn my 2nd computer off or i accidently unplug the adaptor, it wont connect to the speedstream 6520 on my 2nd computer but its fine on my main computer... the only way i know how to fix it is to turn the speedstream 6520 off then back on and its works fine..

but is there a way to bypass this so i dont havto turn my speedstream 6520 off then back on coz it get realy anoyying having to go turn it off and on...

also is there a way to speed up my 2nd computers net speed coz its speed staus says 1mbps.

could sum1 plz help me with them problems plz

Hi Jayson,

Have you tried using another wireless adaptor? Possibily a friends. I've only ever seen this problem once and it turned out to be a faulty adaptor.

Also, what are you using to test your connection speed. Your broadband connection speed is determined by your ISP. If you only have a 1 meg connection, you may wish to consider upgrading. If you are paying for a faster connection, then you will need to contact them and find out why they are only providing you 1meg. You can also do a speedtest from here: Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

ok well i turned my pc on this morning and it was working fine turned my computer on and off several times and its fine the internet speed its fine i load a page in 0 to 5 secs

btw i was using my wireless network connection to see how fast it was going.
