Hey, im not sure on the Ressurecting topics thing on here, but i thought i might as well update you!

My friend is on BT now, but still doesnt have the internet, BT must remove a DACS from the line to allow him to get internet, They have lied to him for about a year telling him they were doing work, but they have only just started in the last month. Basically its a DACS on an underground phoneline, and on the exchange so... Well as you can imagine its not very good. BT have to get planning permission of the council to allow them to dig up the line and De-DACS it, but that could take a long time. In this topic i blamed AOL for alot of things, yes they are ****, But the main villains here are BT, they have lied for months on end blaming other ISP's because removing a DACS "Is not financially viable" now that they have started work, im confident it will be done eventually, But its not fair, and the work should be done allready.
