Question Can't log out of pchf

Hi, I seem to be having trouble logging out of pchf. I was told I have a local cookies issue, and given a place on the pchf web site to clear them, when I click on the link it gives me a list with some check boxes but I'm not sure what to do with it. Here's a discription of the problem, I click on "log out" the "all cookies cleared " screen pops up, but I'm still logged in. TIA

This is strange. What browser are you using? And when you log in normally do you check remember me?

You just check the boxes that have information to the right and then click on "Delete Cookies" - there is nothing wrong with the site, as I said before, it is something at your PC end

EDIT: I notice that you have gone from the "Who's Online" list within 6 minutes - this would prove that you have indeed logged off of the site.

Hi upgrader, I am using the "verizon yahoo" browser, which is just ie with an added extension, and different look, added "features". I also use ie7 by itself when I need mcafee site advisor. I normally don't untick remember me, and maybe that was the prob. But I just had a strange thing happen again. Before visiting pchf just now I cleared my cookies, came to the site, tried to log in multiple times, each time unchecking remember me. Each time the "thank you for logging in countryboy" screen would pop up, but when it redirected me, I was not shown as logged in, in the upper left hand corner of the page. It wouldn't let me do anything a logged in member can do. Furthermore if I scrolled down to " currently active users", countryboy was on the list! I finally logged in again, this time leaving remember me unchecked and was able to post this reply. Hello to you too Hengis, I definately was not implying that anything is wrong with this site,(I love this site), it's just that when I first started using this site everything was working normally for me. I know it's gotta be something I'm doing wrong, I just don't know what. Please help me, I'm drowning in my own ignorance (gurgle gurgle) TIA, cb

I know about this issue, my solution is to log in as normal click on any of the latest posts and then click Home and i show as logged in at top left hand corner.
