after installing IE7 whenever i open the browser instead of going to my homepage "google" it goes to "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005" then after about 1 second redirects its self to "http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx" wich is just a black blue page and the meta tags are set as "customize you settings" i have changed my home page but it contines to do this

This is actually very simple all they want you to do is customize your settings for the first time by going through the options and then clicking ok or accept.
And then your homepage should be back to normal. |

So there is no options at all. There is supposed to be some options for you to set. if there is not have you tried restarting your pc.

Just been looking at another forum with someone with the same problem.
The person got it fixed by uninstalling ie7 via add/remove programs and then reinstalling again and the page loaded up properly so he could do the options. I suggest you try this and untick malicious software removal tool and updates when you reinstall it. |
