The process is slightly more complex then what garhar just said. The first step in this process that you need to take is to figure out what your routers IP is so you can edit it's settings. Assuming you are using windows XP, go to your start button, settings, control panel and double click network connection. A window will open, click the support tab and then type the 'Default Gateway' # or IP into your web browser and hit enter (Do not close the network connection window yet ).
Port Forwarding for the Lucent Technologies CELL-22A-FX-CZ
This website will take you to a bit more of a comprehensive guide to show you what you need to do to this part, from here on most routers it will ask you for a name and password, the default may vary from router to router, so you may need to go to your manufacturers website or perhaps your manual to find exactly what the default is to access your router or the website link I posted may also give you that answer. Once your in you will need to find port forwarding/port triggering or something of that nature. Once you have reached that port forwarding you will need to add a custom service, I would put Ares for the name, keep it as tcp/udp, and then the starting and ending port should be whatever port you have selected in Ares (which may be 1157 or something else, it is up to you). Your server IP address should really be your IP that was created by your router. So back at the local area connection window you should see your IP address. That is the IP you want to be in the server IP address. Click apply, or OK or something of that nature and then you should be done with that process. If at that point you still are not getting any downloading you may need to make an exception to your firewall, there are many many firewalls, I personally do not use one. But if you are using the windows firewall
How to Configure Windows Firewall on a Single Computer
This guide should help you through the process to allow an exception. If that should fail and you still aren't getting any download, be sure to find a torrent that has many seeders. The whole process is fairly complex, but once you understand how torrents work it is as plain as day and a fantastic idea. I am fairly sure there are rules on this website that restricts any linking to torrents or any websites that are about torrents so I won't go into all that. But basically if the site you are browsing lists how many seeders and leechers there are for the file, make sure that there are a fair number of seeders, seeders are people who have 100% of that particular file and are simply uploading the file to other users while leechers are people who have little to some of the file and are downloading the file and uploading the file as well.
