I posted the following in Windows help forum but then thought this might be a better place to find help.

"I have Windows XP sp2. Lately some links in a webiste don't work. I assume they are javascript or some other method (lots of % signs in the link). i downloaded the latest java code but that didn't help.

I had this problem once before and ended up reloading XP and sp1 and sp2. Wow. I don't want to do that again.

the way i work around it is to right-click on the link, click COPY SHORTCUT, and past that into the address line and click GO. This will than take me to wherever was intended. I have no idea what's going on and would like help."
