Unhappy Links Don't Always Work

I have Windows XP sp2. Lately some links in a webiste don't work. I assume they are javascript or some other method (lots of % signs in the link). i downloaded the latest java code but that didn't help.

I had this problem once before and ended up reloading XP and sp1 and sp2. Wow. I don't want to do that again.

the way i work around it is to right-click on the link, click COPY SHORTCUT, and past that into the address line and click GO. This will than take me to wherever was intended. I have no idea what's going on and would like help.

Hi Kathy, welcome to the forums.

Have you tried using another internet browser? Such as Firefox or Opera? Maybe even IE7

I know IE sometimes has problems reading %20 code in links, which is just instead of a normal space...Frontpage normally does this.
