Default [Answered] Opera and Torrents: How to Disable?

Can someone tell me how to stop Opera from downloading torrents when I click on download links? I just want to save the torrents to my desktop and use another program to download them. Thx.

Just rightclick on the torrent link , click "save as" and save it where you want.

Or just associate the program you want to use to open torrents with torrent files, instead of Opera.

Sometimes I can't right click on the link... can't I just tell Opera not to open torrents?

You can associate torrents with an other program then Opera.

Rightclick on a (already downloaded) torrent file and select "open with" , then select the program you want to use, then before pressing ok first make sure that "always use the selected..." is ticked and then press ok.

From then on the torrents should open with the program you selected instead of Opera.
