Ok so I've been using XBOX live at Uni for the last 6 months with no problem now im home for the summer (whats left) and we've just had broadband installed from Telewest and it works fine except that I cant get my xbox live working again. I dont even get a reason for it. Just says xbox live cannot be connected. Any help would be appreciated.

You will have to add the DNS servers for your new connection into the XBox Live! connection screens.
On your PC:
Click Start --> run --> type in cmd and hit enter --> type (in the "Dos" box) ipconfig /all and hit enter. Look for the DNS entries towards the bottom of the screen. Enter those into your XBox connection setup screens.
There will be a change to this information if you are using an internal LAN/Router setup.
Nope, tried it earlier, Im gunna admit defeat and ring telewest. I bet they tell me the exact same thing tho. Thanks.
What errors are you recieving at the test connection screen? Mine used to work but my dad added a new port to replace an old one on our router and ever since that my xbox live wont work because of the MTU error.
