i also have the same problem like http://www.pchelpforum.com/internet-...t-problem.html but i tried using the solution but seems like it does not work for my case. In the past i can watch the videos in youtube but after i uninstalled marco-flashplayer8, and tried downloading the latest flash player9. i am also getting the same massage as him "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player, click here to get the latest flash player". I retired downloading the flashplayer 9 and found that is it not installed my computer. The thing is it only installed the yahoo toolbar, so how can i solve this problem?? sorry for my broken english, hope you understand.

Have you tried reinstalling version 8?

Have you followed the instructions for uninstalling Shockwave, Flash, and Java and reinstalling them?

Sorry for the late reply.
But i followed the instructions and reinstalled version 8 quite a number of times, it doesnt help. :[
is there other possible solution?

the other werid thing is i can watch youtube video when it is posted at a web but not at http://www.youtube.com .

I experienced the same thing as you, however my youtube is working fine now. I think they might've fixed it up. You should try youtube out now

Hey Kiddo,

Does that mean that it is working now? In trying to help Gummy, I contacted YouTube, it turns out they were having Flash problems and were working on it, they could have saved a lot of people a lot of trouble by posting that information.
