Default [Resolved] Gummy's YouTube Flash Problem

I've tried to download macromedia flash 9, but whenever i click on 'download the latest flash player' it comes up with a page that says this 'We are unable to locate a single Web player that best matches your platform and operating system.

Please visit our table of recommended Web players.
You must close all other browser windows before installing. '

Does this mean this is no flash 9 for Windows XP ?

Hi Gummyness,

Welcome to PCHF. It is always best to start your own thread when posting a problem, then, if you want the techs to be able to refer to another thread because you think it issimilar, you can paste the URL into your post.

I am going to move you to your own thread called Gummy's Flash Problem.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Hey Gummy,

In an email I sent to you I mistakenly referred to the reference thread as having been closed out in Oct. I was mistaken, my aplogies.

Do you get the same errors on any flash item, or only on certain sites?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Hey ladygreenwitch, i'll make sure i make my own thread next time, and thanks for replying

So far it only occurs on youtube, because I've been able to play flash games and visit other places like googlevideo.

I uninstalled my previous flash player and visited the link you gave me, however it still isnt working. When i visit any myspace lookies, I can still see the youtube clips the user puts up. Is it possible that maybe one of my programs is stopping me from viewing anything on youtube? Gah! Its getting frustrating.
