Default RJ45 connector Yes or No

My Freebie Rig has a RJ45 on back, computer was pulled from an office.

Is Damage possible if I connect my CABLE MODEM output

Would indications if it can handle it exist ? If so WHERE ?

There's room for a 10/100 card if need be, which I'd spring for, rather than risk
frying

Can't really see much of a problem with you connecting that RJ-45 from the cable modem, up to the existing ethernet port in the PC....give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised
