Default Msn Isp

My Isp is MSN. I use a dial up connection, XP Home edition.
Yesterday when i tried to log in to the ISP it could not verify my password and what I had wriiten in my address book didn't appear to be the correct one. I called MSN and of course got the prompter. It stepped me to a link that reset my password and gave me a new one.
I would like to change the password that MSN gave to one of my own choosing but can't figure out how to do it. When I finally was able to get a live voice I got someone from India who I couldn't understand.
I ask him where to go to change my password and he said to use support.msn.com.
The only thing I could find there was how to change my email password, nothing about changing my password in the ISP connection, also there was no contact information.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Parker,

My welcome to PCHF, as I have not had the pleasure. I'm pretty sure we will be able to help you to find where you need to go to in order to change your password.

Do you have the initial setup information for your dialup account?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Ladygreenwitch:

As I recall I went thru network connections and the network connection wizard.
I looked at the wizard the other day and stepped thru that up the final step before I backed out.
I'm not sure this is what you are refering. I don't recall getting a download disk or any instructions from MSN when I orginally setup the account. I checked thru by setup disks and I have them going back to 31/2 floppies and didn't find anything.
Also, another part of my question was is anyone know of MSN ISP has an online tech site or email Q&A site if they do I couldn't find it at support.MSN.com. The last time I check Microsoft still had the two services on their site ( I have used the tech chat room in the past). What I found out from past experiences is that Microsoft treats itself and their ISP service, MSN, as if they were two totally unrelated companies.
