Ok guys I have exausted my knowledge base for this (probly somthing simple I missed)

My wife is running 98se and her rated speed for our DSL pro is 3mb/s which it does on speed test at dslreports.com and 2wire.com

But webpages and I mean eveywebpage is coming up soo slow like 10 seconds.
She is not sharing my connections
No spyware or viruses checked that myself and she knows better.
Am I missing osmthing here? Even firefox is slow as molasses in the winter.

i'm not sure if this will help but did u try reset web settings in internet options

Done so far, changed web settings....Scanned with awpersonalse. Scanned with HJT.. Have kapersky av, and ZA pro. tried reconfiguring ip flushed dns etc etc.

well asa i don't know anything else that could help u out so i'll leave it to somebody that knows more than i do to help u out

hey asa i just got off the phone with my isp cause my internet was running a lil slow you can try this and see if it helps

go in internet options-connections-lan settings and uncheck anything that is checked

Have you tried resetting the router/modem?

No I found out that they were updating the system wires in my area. So when I went to check my pc just to see it was totally disconnected... Just came back on an hour ago. Hope they give refunds lol..
