OK Great, Spy Sweeper removed 132 traces and subtraces left over from other removals. That's good.

Are you still having the problem? If so can you please run Housecall, from my signature, and see if it finds anything? Thanks,

Looking forward to your reply,

the only thing is i do not know how to delete the stuff that housecall consider as a threat, there is no delete button n the results page..

Hey Terror,

Housecall removes the threats automatically in the last stage of the process. Can you please post the results? I'd like to see what it located, perhaps there is more to the removal that Housecall didn't do.

ok i have scanned my whole computer online with housecall again and had 4 infections detected....couldnt really remembered specificly what they were but one of them was crck jbean.a, another was cookies ....all those four were removed.....

besides that i had a few vulnerabilities coz i just ran a system recovery. i had my windows updated already but not before i ran the scan so its logic that housecall scan detects the vulnerabilities......so im gonna have to restart my com now... n see what happens.....

btw i have already had my mozilla firefox uninstalled bcoz it still uses manual proxy configuration whichi had to manually set it to directly connect to the internet but it just uses the proxy settings back everytime i restart my firefox....i notice that the same prob did not occur in my netscape or internet explorer.....

OK Great! It looks like we're at least making some progress. Please run a couple more online scanners, just to be on the safe side; Kaspersky and Panda, then reinstall your FireFox, and let's see where you are at.

I am wondering if one of your settings was affected by the infections. If so, I am going to ask one of the guys that uses FireFox primarily to help you, because, I don't use it, and may possibly miss something really simple.

Looking forward to your reply,
