Glad to hear that. What was the problem in the end?

To be honest i dont really know, before i had the internet problem sorted another occured. When i turned my computer on it showed the display of the motherboard logo but then it went on standy-by. Then i realsied if i start it up and it goes on standby then i restart instead of powering on and off the computer works. then i re-installed the drivers which i had done before but this time it worked.

I haven't really looked at the standby problem yet, i have checked evrything is inserted properly and i have tried a different monitor but the same problem - im not really looking for answers to that problem at the moment though as i haven't tried to solve it myself.
