Hey there smokintony and welcome to PCHF,

Could you open your internet explorer, click on Tools - Internet Options.
Scroll to advanced and click on 'restore default settings'
Apply the changes and try to access the site again.

You can also try updating your Java through this link - http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Alternatively the answer is YES, you can transfer your favourites to IE:
  • First, go into IE and click File | Import and Export
  • Click Next and select Export Favourites.
  • Click Next and then choose which ones you want to copy or select Favorites to copy the whole thing.
  • Click Next and it will ask you where you want to copy it to. It will copy all your favourites as an html file and you can set any target destination you want.
  • Then in Mozilla, click on Bookmarks | Manage Bookmarks and select Tools | Import... and then choose the file you just saved.

Unhappy I'm having the same problem!

I get the same error message on IE and I don't know when it happened. None of my settings have changed since when it worked previously. I have updated java and flash, as well as shockwave, and followed the directions on their sites and it still does not work. I reset my internet toi default and it did nothing. I have no idea what to do anymore.

I recommend doing the following:

Open your add/remove programs and uninstall the following (if they are there):
  • Shockwave player
  • Flash player
  • Java
Some of those may be doubled up, just delete them all.

Once you have done that then install the following programs:
