Thumbs down Macromedia Flash Player

I have encountered a problem with certain sites that will not play flash videos. When I click on the video I get a beep and nothing. Flash works on some sites but not others. I have XP sp2 and Norton Internet Security. I have disabled all of Norton but that doesn't solve the problem. I checked the Adobe site and found a couple of solutions, changing the registry and reinstalling the player, but nothing has changed. I can't figure this problem out...if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum.

Did you already try THIS? ...and then reinstalling from scratch.

Default Flash Player

I uninstalled Flash with the uninstaller and then reinstalled it, but still have the same problem. I just don't understand this at all. Thanks for your help though.
