Default Some web pages won't show

For starters some of my web pages come up blank when i goto them and i check the source and it always says the same thing:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<**** **********=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>

Anybody know how to fix that? The other thing is my quictime has vanished aswell when this happened.

P.s. I would try posting the hijack this log but i get the above problem with that site aswell.
P.p.s i just discovered something else i tried to install demo of ewido and goes to run i click then nothing, same thing goes for anything else i try to install.

Ok, it seems as tho it will be important for you to download the tools to see if this is malware related. Try the Firefox browser to get the files: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=U&sta...refox/&e=14911

New discovery, sometimes the cursor turns into a black box. Appears i'm missing several directx files all the ones that start with q, should be 7.

Hya Goldpup , lets see if we can fix this for you.

Download haxfix.exe
and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on haxfix.exe to install haxfix. (standard installation path is c:\program Files\haxfix)
  • Checkmark "Create a desktop icon"
  • Click "Next"
  • When the installation is completed, make sure that the checkmark "Launch HaxFix" is placed
  • Click "Finish"
A red "dos window" (dos box) will open with options:
1. Make logfile
2. Run auto fix
3. Run manual fix
E. Exit Haxfix
  • Select option 1. Make logfile by typing 1 and then pressing Enter
  • Haxfix will start scanning the computer. When it is finished a logfile will open: haxlog.txt > (c:\haxfix.txt)
  • Copy the contents of that logfile and post it in this thread.]
