Well I'm using an SMF board for my GTA SA mod site and my host made me change to a better server from them and therefore the IP changed and I had to re-upload everything back. I re-uploaded the forums and re-setup everything exactly how it used to be, even all the MySQL databases and everything. But now the SMF forums can't seem to know where to find the database. I'm not experienced in MySQL at all and would really like to fix the problem.

Have you checked the MySQL connection settings in the Settings.php file? That is what is most likely happening. Make sure your username, password, and database info is correct.

Yes a friend of mine already pointed that one out to me. Unfortunently I have no clue what any of those 3 are. I know the username but that's it

You will need to contact your hosting provider to find your database information. That is the leading culprit of MySQL connection errors.

Wouldn't PHPMyAdmin have that information or something?

Ok well I found out the username and databse location but under password it says <PASSWORD HERE>

You would be far better off getting expert SMF advice at their Forums: www.simplemachines.org.
