Default Re: bookmarks??

A bookmark is a location or selected text on a page that you have marked.

In terms of a web designer:
You can use bookmarks as a destination for a link. For example, if you want to display a certain section of a page to the site visitor, add a link with the bookmark as its destination. When the site visitor clicks the link, the relevant part of the page is displayed, rather than the top of the page.

Normally when sites say bookmark they mean add to favourites.

There are other ways to avoid having to add links to fav.

You could make an html page. list all the links there and make that your homepage. That way everytime you click on the IE icon a page opens with every link you might want to visit.
