Default [FIXED] - Data entry tests

Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help me with this.? I work in a small office and we need something that can test people on data entry.? I started looking online for something to download but they are always trials which expire after 30 days.? I rather have something that has unlimited access and it doesn't have to be very sophisticated, just something that tests the accuracy and speed.? Anyone know of a program I can download?? Thanks for your help.

Ahhh...I have just understood what you are asking for (I think).

Are you looking for a tool that measures how fast someone can type?

Data Entry -

Basically it sounds like he needs a program that will assess keyboarding skills, rating both speed in keystrokes per hour (KPH) and accuracy.

They use these kind of programs in Employement Agencies, I remember when I was applying for jobs that I had to run one of these tests. (anyway enough about me, lets get back to the issue at hand)

I have browsed the web and the only thing I have found so far is "Data Entry Test 2004" which has the 30day trial. (I am sure you have seen this one already)

I will keep looking around.

Look like Data Entry 2000 (desetup40.zip) is a shareware version but it seems like a mission to find the file.
This site looks like it might have it.

If you have any luck with a free one, please let me know. And yes, I do work at an employment agency Like I said, we're a small company so we often have to cut costs down.

Checkout this site : http://typingsoft.com/all_typing_tutors.htm and look under "Freeware"
There are programs like Typemaster Typing Test which is a demo but doesn't look like it has the 30 day evaluation.
Look at the others on the site. - They say freeware so should be ok.

I checked out TypingMaster Typing Test and you can add your own text into the typing test. So you can create a .txt file with whatever information you would like the people to be tested on.

Let me know what you think

Oh my god!! You rock!! That program was perfect...hopefully my co-worker will think so too. One more favor, please!

Do you know where I can find a numeric test? This one would test the keypad use.

Within the program you can create text files with whatever information you would like the person to type, you should be able to put numbers in there if you wanted. (haven't tried it though)
I will do a few searches just in case
