You bet ! I think this will be a great resource for anyone who wants to make a custom pc ! This is also great to add on things like case mod ideas and tutorials, possible problems and solutions , essential tools , and so on. I want to stress that this is just the basics and there is plenty of room to add more to it.

Nice!

I haven't the time to read it all yet but it is looking good

Added to Index of Tutorials.

Although i wouldn't say your power supply is a particularly good make

Welcome to The Hotel California he's a head forum/server administrator there. He's also a computer technician. A while back I was looking for a power supply that would support my x1900 , and he gave me some tips on it. I have this tutorial posted on several other forums as well ^^

The only things i can suggest - is cable management.

It gets overlooked all the time...and yet it helps reduce ambient temperature and possible fan stoppage.

Also...400 watt isn't all that much anymore. SLI and Crossfire use a fair amount. I'd recommend getting the link out of my signiture for PSU Calculator and referencing that in your tutorial...

Check out my pc - 400watts is not enough for half of it...i used to have a 430 watt and i only had 1 less hard drive...it wasn't enough to run it stable.
