Some would prefer Seagate or Western digital it is a personal prefrence.

You could always go with NAS (Network Attached Storage). Less of a chance of it crashing and you can get huge hard discs

Some are a bit pricey but I've seen drives that go up to 2.5 and 3 TB

I prefer to purchase Samsung hard drives.

They are more reliable than another hard drive manufacturer that also starts with a S, as far as my own personal preferences go...

Hah, that was a little too pricy for me :P

But thanks guys, now I know approx. which ones to prefer. Leaning towards either WD or Seagate . "Issue" resolved
