Default Format Hard Drive with no OS ?

Hi i have two hard drives that id like to load windows on to but they need formatting.
They have no operating system on them.
Is there anyway i can format them or even wipe them?

Format either via XP/Vista disk or there is what we call clone the hard drive.

Do do this you will need a utility like GParted. I have used this a lot of times to clean up old drives.

Make sure you read the instruction for the Live CD...
