Hi . I have two hard drives (IDE) installed in my computer, a C and D.. i recently reformatted my C hard drive and reinstalled windows XP, leaving my D as is, (stored a few important things on there) but now while running windows my hard drive clicks and stops responding for a few seconds, sounds like it restarts.. i had this problem awhile ago and some how came across fixing this problem, somthing do to with setting up my harddrive through my computer (forgot though), not to sure as to why this problem has started again when reinstalling windows... any suggestions on how to fix this?

go to Start > Right click My computer > manage > disk management > rescan disk. if you connected your drive properly then it should show up here.
