Yesterday I was watching videos on my pc when it suddenly froze. Of course I pushed on restart, since it just won't move at all.

After that, it won't go on to Windows. It just dies after a couple of seconds on. I stopped trying to get it to work for 3 hours then tried it again. It functioned just fine.

Then, this morning, when I tried working with it, it just won't start again. A few more tries later, it proceeds to Windows, but restarts after getting to the desktop screen. I thought maybe it needs some cooling down so I took a fan and placed it near the CPU.
So, then, it worked. It doesn't restart anymore. But this time, my second HD and my 2 disc drives aren't detected. I tried restarting, but the other drives won't come back.

What could have possible gone wrong with it? Cables? RAM? the fan??
And what do I have to do to get it working normally again? Thanks.

check to make sure all your cables are in secure. also check inside BIOS to see if the PC is seeing them.

it's been a while. i kind of forgot this thread because my computer went normal again after CHKDSK.

but, just for the record, when i went to bios [before chkdsk], it didn't recognize anything but my main drive.
