Default I LOST OVER 65Gigs

My Xbox 360 Recently Crashed and so i bought a Device called the MiniSpy USB to extrace the contents of the 360's HDD to my PC so i can then place them on my new 360,
well, today i went ahead and freed up 65Gigs of space on my 160GB Hitatchi HDD, Then i started the download proces. Just as the process was nearing completion the Cat bumped the mouse and canceled the download. HOWEVER, no files were actually placed on my HDD so im thinking they are stuck as Temporary files . How can i get them OUT to delete them, i have only 1GIG left of memory.
Any help would be apreciated as i am to do a Video broadcast next week and need atleast 10 GIgs.

Sorry for the long post, wanted to be thorough.

NOTES:
-YES THE Minispy does work. i have successfully downloaded 6 files. Prior to this. However, apparently if the download is not complete then the files dont finish extracting.
-YES i have also already done a disc Cleanup and emptied the TEMP Folder. I only got back 1 GIG.
-NO i have not done Disc Defrag because i dont have enough Memory to do it. it requires 15% and i have 0%
-As i was doing the Cleanup i noticed that it said it delets only Files that have been unused for 1 week.

Download and install this program (it's free) CCleaner ... Alternative Download.
After installing...run the program...click on Analyzer...then click on Run Cleaner.
On the left side of the window, click on Registry...click on Scan for issues...click on Fix selected issues.

This program will cleanup your temp files and cookies.

I don't know if this will work with XP Home or not, so give it a try...

THANX that worked. Dummy Me, i Always forget that XP HOME splits the accounts into seperate sections. and it never occured to me that my account had its own TEMP folder.

1 Last Question. The files in the TEMP folder.. can i still use them? or are they just a phantom of theyre true self until they were compltere finished off in the download?

NOTE: it turned out to be 74.2Gigs

I'm glad the link helped.

I do not know what program you used that created the temp file(s), but I do not think the program would have an option to pick up from where it left off unless it does it automatically which apparently it did not do.

My suggestion is to delete the temp file(s) and start over again, if that is possible.

Good Luck...
