There is a metod and I'm sure there are programmes too. It a completely manual process, so here goes:

- Make sure that your files are not hidden. From explorer, click Tools followed by Folder Options. Click on the View tab, and click on Show Hidden Files and Folders, followed by OK.
- From your C drive, highlight a set of folders, or a single folder in the right hand pane.
- Right click on that selection, and go to Properties, and you will then see how much space that selection is using in the first window that appears.
- When you find a folder that is taking up a lot of space, go into it, and then do the same with the folders in there. If there are a lot of folders, what you can do is highlight half of them at a time, and keep doing it until you find the folder that you want.

One bit of advice though, don't just delete folders you find take up a lot of space. Some files on your disk are essential to the running of the OS. If it's a software application, then it should be uninstalled properly via Add/Remove programs, as there maybe system files and settings which are stored in other locations. Uninstall won't work after the folder has been deleted.

Luckily I already have this program! It's a good one, too.

Thanks D and madmonkey!!

Problem resolved

Edit: WOW! Kaspersky was using 50.9GB of space in the Application Data folder!! That explains why my HDD is suddenly filled up!
