i have an extra hard drive 80gig seagate barracuda that has a partition in it. when i placed it in my pc as my secondary slave drive i could no longer locate my files. and error appeared and it said that my drive was not formatted. knowing that the first partitioned data was not that important i tried to reformat it and was successful. but still cant see my data and the other partitioned area. please guy is there any thing i can do about it. i really need those data.

Hello,do you mean you used operating disk to format the 80 gig hard drive?
