this is the 8860 desktop
i took hard drive from other one because it did not
have floppy drive and that is what i need to use fo my older stuff
this is a hard drive from a d220 MT. It is currently runnig XP Pro but I need it to run XP Home

Hi myfakeid02 and welcome to PCHF

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say, you want to downgrade from XP Pro to Home?

To do that you will need to format the drive and then use an xp home disc to install. This will erase all data currently on the drive.
