Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Ok here are a few simple questions,are you going to install and IDE or SATA HDD?

Are you going to install a fresh format of XP?


If there is any data on failing HDD you could set it as slave before it fails and get your data transfered.

Please excuse the other posts,we appoligise for the answers.
