Default Desperate NEED!!

I recently took apart my computer to clean out the dust. (there was a lot)
but when i connected everything back together and booted it up......it says "cannot detect IDE drives"
WHAT!!!???? why not?
i connected everything back to where they go

it looks like this

Primary Master=NONE
Primary Slave=NONE
Secondary Master=NONE
Secondary Slave=Liteon DVD-ROM LTD163 GH4W

(there was a connection that did break though...but it was the audio connect cable from the dvd rom to the motherboard...but i managed to put the cable into the slot) but still....that wouldnt have anything to do with it.....RIGHT???

HI there must be a problem with the lead between the hard drive and the mainboard or maybe the master / slave jumper was knocked off during the clean out or maybe the power lead for the drive is the drive spinnig up?

Is the CD/DVD drive sharing the same cable? Try it with just the hard drive connected. I'm assuming its and IDE hard drive and CD/DVD.
