Default [Answered] how do i compare the speed od HDD's

I have a few external USB hard disc drives both IDE and SATA, i was hoping to be able to see some DATA from them as to which one is the fastest, i was hoping someone could point me to a piece of software that i could run to see the results of my various drives ?.

is there anything that you can recomend, thanks.
