So the suspect drive works on another PC? on the PC not seeing the drive unplug all IDE devices and set it as a master will it see it then?

i went ahead and unpluged all the disk drives, still wouldent work. But then i pluged the hard drive into one of the slots that a disk drive was in, and it works. Its like the 2 extra plugs on the mother board are not reading, o well lol. thanks for your help madmatt20006
