I am wanting to buid a desktop which has a slot into which I can plug in/out a hard drive in a caddy. Does anyone know of a desktop case supplied as such?

Hi the caddys go into a 5.25 bay on the PC but most people use a removable USB hard drive these days. What were you using it for?

I tried a wieless linked usb hard drive which was dreadfully slow. And I don't particularly have yet more cables fron or back of my desktop. Plug-in is easy in the sense that you can instantly boot up from whatever OS you want. Anyway I have now found two assemly firms that can do what I want.

I have seen the ease with which you can withdraw (computer off, of course) a drive and boot from a completely different drive
