Exclamation [Answered] PC Isnt Detecting My Hard Drives!

Hi, im not sure what has happened with my pc, yesterday afternoon it was working fine, last night i turned it on and it would not boot, i went into bios and both of my drives are not being detected, at first i thought it was a loose connection to the board but alas the connection was fine!, im sure it cant be a problem with the drives as ive never heard of two drives failing at the same time!!

HELP!!

Default Re: PC Isnt Detecting My Hard Drives!

Hello djhogg, welcome to PCHF.

It's not unheard of for two to fail at the same time, however unlikely. If it's not the hard drives, then it's likely to be the controller onboard the motherboard. You only real way of testing, is to either find a working hard drive to test out in your PC, or plug your hard drives into another PC.

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
