Default Move Storage Drive to New Computer

Doing a new build, with new SATA HD's. I have a storage drive (SATA) on my old computer I wish to move fully loaded to the new computer. After the OS is loaded, and I hook up the old drive, will the old drive be recognized and safely leave the info, pictures mostly, on the old drive? On the current computer it was split as "D" &"E"

yes. just make sure you set the BIOS to boot from the new HDD, not the old one. also, i reccomend when you can, deleteing most of the old Windows Files from the old hdd. some will not be allowed, so delete what you can.

No Windows files on this drive. Used for storage of pictures (RAW & JPG) and some music files that are replaceable.
P.S. Will I have the drive as two (split) as before??
