This lady e-mailed me asking if i could replace a broken hard drive in her PowerBook G4 and fix the latch (you had to push extremely hard to make it open). So i said ya bring it over ill take a look, having never worked on a Mac i did not know how much of a difference there was. Turns out other than getting into the thing there really isn't much difference. I ended up keeping it for a few days, got a new hard drive on the way. I'm just wondering how much to charger her for my time. I have never done this type of work before for profit nor have i ever had anything worked on. I don't want to rip myself off by not charging enough. One time i did that laying a floor not knowing how much the pros charge. Any way i was thinking $45 or is that to much?

Howdy justing.. 45 bucks is reasonable.. Geeks squad would have charged her alot more... Think you did the work you orderd her the hard drive and your putting it in.. 45 is perfectly reasonable
