Default Damaged Hard Drive Help Needed

I have a Hitachi 500gb IDE drive which i use with an enclosure along with other HD's.

One of the IDE connector pins has come off the drive as shown with the image i have attached.

Is there any way to fix this or just salavage the data? Maybe by opening up the drive and removing something and placing it in another drive?

Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

im not an expert on this sort of thing, but it might be possible to re-solder the connector and have it work long enough to back up the data. there are other options, but they can cost quite a bit. i would wait for a tech to take a look first though.

Thanks for the reply. I think ill leave the re-soldering as a last resort.

Anyone have information/advice on taking the drive apart?
